ISPRS 2026 Congress to Showcase Advances in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences in Toronto, Canada. Global geospatial leaders convene in Toronto, 4–11 July 2026, after 54 years.
The XXV Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) will take place in Toronto from 4–11 July 2026. As the largest global gathering of the geospatial community, the event brings together delegates from academia, government, and industry to spark ideas, share knowledge, and foster international collaboration.
Hosted by the Canadian Remote Sensing Society – Société canadienne de télédétection (CRSS-SCT), the Congress also integrates sessions from the Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing, offering an expanded and more diverse scientific program.
Under the theme From Imagery to Information, the Congress will highlight the latest scientific and technological advances shaping the geospatial field. Participants will explore cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence and machine learning, sensor fusion, autonomous sensing systems, digital construction, digital twins, and health analytics, alongside applications in agriculture, forestry, disaster management, climate change, and environmental monitoring.
These innovations are increasingly essential not only for addressing Earth-based challenges such as climate change, urbanization, and disaster response, but also for supporting the next frontier of exploration beyond our planet. Geospatial science, remote sensing, and spatial data technologies play a foundational role in space exploration initiatives such as the Artemis program, where advanced Earth observation techniques, AI-driven mapping, and satellite-based imaging are adapted to support lunar navigation, surface analysis, and mission planning.
Daily plenary sessions will feature leading keynote speakers who will inspire attendees with insights across computer vision, national mapping, satellite remote sensing, space programs, and asteroid mapping, among other domains.
With the commercial exhibition hall at the centre of the venue, the Congress will feature strong industry engagement. Technology showcases and lightning sessions will present state-of-the-art innovations, while applied presentations will highlight impactful real-world projects bridging research and industry practice.
A full program of tutorials will provide opportunities to explore the latest developments in computer vision, deep learning, quantum computing, digital twin creation, and more.
